A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Pharmacist with a passion for Medicines Safety to join our well-respected Pharmacy Team.
The successful candidate will be the Medication Safety Officer andlead on medication safety throughout the Trust.Working closely with lead medical, nursing and pharmacy staff you willmaintain the profile of medication safety across the Trust, ensuring effective trust wide communication of medication safety issues.
You will collaborate with the Trust Governance to provide pharmaceutical inputto the multidisciplinary governance agenda related to medicines safety.You will also manage the medicines safety group and lead and chair the Pharmacy Governance group.
We require you to have a Clinical Diploma or equivalent and possess excellent communication skills. We will build upon your current experience and qualifications through supporting you to develop further leadership skills to maximise your impact in the role.
To support 7 day working you will be expected to participate in the on-call, weekend, Bank Holiday and late duty rotas.
