Are you an experienced administrator who enjoys work that requires a high level of accuracy?
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is looking for someone to perform a range of administrative services helping the team of Investigators to establish the identities of all parties involved in incidents ensuring that the dialogue is identified and attributed accurately. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing source material and accurately transcribing the salient points. They will also be required to extract information regarding the legal points to prove and support the case as it progresses through the Criminal Justice System.
Essential Qualifications
1. Educated to QCF Level 2 or to have undertaken work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level.
2. Considerable experience of working in an administrative role, in a busy office environment involving frequent people contact particularly on the telephone including handling difficult callers and sensitive matters.
3. Experience of working in a reactive environment.
4. Digital literacy skills and prior experience of using Microsoft Office or equivalent.
5. Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative when required, but also to work as part of a team within the unit.
