Job Title: Crane Sales Representative | Location: Aberdeen | Employment Type: Full-time – 40 hours per week
We are seeking a knowledgeable and persuasive Crane Sales Representative to increase our customer base.
The Crane Sales Representative responsibilities include identifying potential customers, presenting our crane products, and negotiating contracts with clients.
Our ideal candidate is familiar with the technical aspects of our crane services and has a strong background in sales.
To work in tandem with the company’s technical team, often translating technical specifications into understandable benefits for their clients.
The goal of the role is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
* Identify potential clients and decision-makers within the client organisation.
* Present and sell company crane services to current and potential clients.
* Develop and maintain sales materials and develop a product knowledge.
* Ability to work collaboratively with team members, including sales manager and technical support teams, to ensure the customer’s needs are met.
* Provide after-sales support to enhance the customers’ usage experience.
* Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales.
* Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
* The role also involves maintaining a good relationship with existing clients, providing after-sales support.
Qualifications
* Proven work experience as a sales representative in the crane industry (desirable)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Sales and marketing skills to identify potential customers, understand their needs and offer suitable crane services.
* Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to exceed sales targets.
* Ability to develop in-depth knowledge about our products and services.
* Valid UK driving license as this position requires regular travel to meet with potential clients and attend industry events.
* Problem-solving skills to identify issues that customers may have and provide effective solutions.
