As Career Coach and Student Enterprise Manager, you will be responsible for managing the student Career Coaches employed by the University on temporary, part-time contracts, as well as the Student Futures Officer who supports the delivery of Student Futures operations. Additionally, you will oversee the design and delivery of a student enterprise education programme aimed at enhancing students' prospects of better understanding self-employment, freelancing and the pathway to bring business concepts to markets.

About you
* You will have experience of successfully managing a team in a customer focused environment.
* Experience of developing employability and/or enterprise initiatives in partnership with students, academics, Professional Services staff, employers, government, funding organisations or entrepreneurs.
* Knowledge and understanding of working within the HE context to enhance student employability and entrepreneurship.
* Understanding of CEIAG methodology and external employability factors, including labour market intelligence and recruitment practices.
* Knowledge of student enterprise approaches, including typical external funding opportunities offered by HE providers.
* Ability to develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Capability to devise evidence-based operational plans.
* Ability to motivate a team to deliver an excellent service and delegate tasks accordingly.
* Ability to gather, analyse and interpret data to continually improve services.
* Project management skills, with the ability to deliver agreed work on time and within budget.
Qualification
Essential:
* Degree/HND or substantial relevant work experience.
* Level 4 or higher qualification in careers education, information, advice and guidance, or relevant work experience (e.g. education, recruitment, HR, work placements) with a commitment to work towards completing a professional guidance qualification where not held.
Desirable:
* EEUK Fellow.
