We're working with a primary school based in the NG21 area who are looking to appoint 2 experienced Behaviour Mentors to work across KS1 & KS2, providing both classroom and 1-1 support to pupils with SEMH and Challenging Behaviour.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
2. Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
3. Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
4. Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with SEMH & Challenging Behaviour.

Requirements:
1. While prior experience in a similar role is preferred, we also welcome applications from individuals new to this sector that have transferable skills from roles such as Safeguarding Officer, Youth Work, Family Support Worker, and Children's Residential Support Worker.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students of all ages.
4. Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and learning needs.
5. A DBS on the update service (or willing to get one).
In order to be considered for the higher pay rate, you do need to have a minimum of 2 years experience.
