Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are working with a manufacturing company in the Lincoln area to recruit an Accounts Assistant. Your new role Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will see you undertaking a wide range of duties including purchase ledger, sales orders/invoicing, stock reconciliations, helping to produce weekly and monthly finance reporting, journals, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting at month end. The company is happy to consider both part-time (min 3 days a week) or full-time options. What you'll need to succeed You will have proven finance experience gained in a fast-moving commercial environment. You will have strong IT and Excel skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels internally and externally. You could be studying for AAT and be looking to progress. You will be living in close-commute to Lincoln as the role is mostly office-based.
