If so, Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Ad Hoc HLTA/Unqualified Teachers for emergency cover in primary schools in South Birmingham.
Responsibilities:
Step in as a cover supervisor or unqualified teacher on a day-to-day basis to provide emergency cover for absent teachers in primary schools.
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and engage students in meaningful learning activities.
Follow the school's policies and procedures and maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times.
Provide support and guidance to students, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Complete required administrative tasks, such as taking attendance and providing feedback to the regular teacher.
Requirements:
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain discipline.
A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
Flexibility and availability to cover on short notice.
A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and relevant right to work documents.
Level 5 or aboveThis post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
