Concerning the objective of the function to assure the safety, compliance, legality, and quality of our products, you will work largely unsupervised supporting the execution of the Quality Assurance, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and Fine Fragrance Quality validation.
You will report to the Head of Quality and Improvement.
Missions:
* Manage and co-ordinate investigations into customer complaints and internal non-conformance.
* Communicate and report on investigation findings to internal and external customers.
* Be the single Point of Contact (SPOC) for communicating with partners.
* Analyse and interpret CI/performance indicators/improvement project data, define and propose improvements, and complete approved actions.
* Support the daily coordination of the Fine Fragrance Validation team.
* Provide support to the QA Manager by performing analysis and interpretation/trending of reported data from multiple sources.
* Lead and implement assigned actions related to quality assurance requirements.
* Demonstrate a good level of knowledge and interpretation of quality-related policies, standards, procedures, and requirements in daily work life (e.g., reviewing business processes, improvement projects, audits, meetings).
* Provide quality-related training to the function.
* Induction training and subsequent training for less experienced QA officers/internal auditors/staff in operations and all other site functions.
* Provide guidance to your team regarding the update of their departmental manuals and procedures.
* Promote quality principles and culture, being visible, walking the floor, participating in SOED/VPM meetings.
Academic Background:
* Vocational Diploma in an appropriate technical field.
* University degree.
Professional Experience:
* Overall work experience of 5+ years in a similar position.
* 1 to 2 years of coaching experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
* Experience using computer-based Management Applications.
* Good understanding of the principles of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and continuous improvement.
* Knowledge of business processes in Operations and in other Site functions/businesses (e.g., Manufacturing, Distribution, Creation, Procurement, Sample/Application Labs, Ingredients, Oral Care, Active Beauty).
