Collections Planner - Network
We are looking to recruit a Collections Planner for our busy transport office in Crawley.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of the day-to-day running of Company collections allocation and assisting with planning. A good attention to detail, decisive and an ability to maintain a high level of accuracy whilst working to tight deadlines are essential.
Responsibilities of Role:
* Duties will include data input, allocating all collections in most efficient manner, assisting with routing, liaising across departments to meet deadlines, de-briefing drivers and dealing with customer queries via telephone and email.
* To answer the telephone and emails in a timely and appropriate manner.
* Correct utilization of staff and vehicles using the company diary sheet/planner.
* Management of the customers collection requests via telephone, email and implant, ensuring required information is communicated with the driver team on allocation.
* Deal with drivers queries appropriately, and ensuring drivers collections and deliveries are completed to schedule.
* Deal with customer queries and complaints effectively, ensuring that goodwill is maintained.
* Assist drivers use of EPOD devices, ensuring procedures are followed and communicated to drivers.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with our customers, other TPN depots and our staff within Eezehaul.
* To accurately prepare administration with set timeframes required to include labels to TPN dispatch, and administration for driver debrief.
* To complete a clear and accurate handover of the daily handover.
* To carry out other tasks that may be required for the company from time to time.
* Adhere to the Health and Safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
Requirements of Role:
* Must have 1+ years’ experience in logistics preferably in a similar role.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Salary and Benefits:
* Working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with an hour lunch break and rostered Saturday mornings 1 in every 4/5 weeks.
* Overtime rates paid after 9 hours worked daily at 1.25hr.
