About the Role - General Class Teacher - Tadworth, Surrey
This school is seeking a teaching assistant who is open to working with children from age 6 to 16
There will be an opportunity to discuss your strengths and which children, ages and needs are the best match for you both
You will need to be resilient and dedicated
You will receive on the job training including opportunities for CPD
All staff receive full school holidays
The school requires a well qualified teacher of English who has experience teaching in the UK
At least one year experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in Special needs or mainstream is essential
Experience working in a SEN is not essential
You will be required to work both one to one and in small groups
You will have strong knowledge of effective relational behaviour management strategies for students with SEND, communication challenges, and complex behaviours
You should have resilience, stamina, and adaptability with excellent interpersonal skills
You should be enthusiastic to work as part of a team
The suitable teaching assistant will have a proven ability to achieve positive outcomes for students
Experience in assisting the teacher in creating engaging lesson and helping to contribute to curriculum development is essential
