We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to become a valued member of our dynamic team within the UK Support Function (UKSF).
Salary: Circa £32,000 depending on experience
Location: Bolton (with flexibility to travel to other UK sites occasionally)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Working 2-3 days a week onsite with a flexible approach.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

As a Business Support Specialist (BSS), you will provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support for the inductions and on-boarding process at our Bolton site.
The Role (this is not an exhaustive list of duties)
* Email management and coordination for the on-boarding schedule, to include collecting key details for new starters and ensuring all emails relating to new starters, leavers and other on-boarding details are addressed, actioned or escalated in a timely manner.
* Manage and maintain the on-boarding and induction schedule data and collate documentation.
* Manage and coordinate internal communications and presentations in relation to on-boarding.
* Manage and arrange logistical and IT requirements for new starters.
* Be a key member within the UK Support Function and participate in engagement activities.
* Share best practice and knowledge within the UK Support Function and offer guidance and training to team members.
* Participate and progress on UK Support Function personal development initiatives – to be accountable for own self-learning and development.
* Any other adhoc technical administration duties.

* Can demonstrate the ability to collate data, analyse and present findings in an engaging manner.
* Can demonstrate a great team ethic and the ability to interface and build close working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
* Can demonstrate a high level of proficiency in Microsoft packages, particularly Excel and an ability to identify and utilise specialist on-boarding software efficiently.
* Can demonstrate an ability to prioritise multiple tasks and schedules simultaneously, to achieve results in a timely manner, ensuring a high level of accuracy.
* A professional demeanour in all situations and be able to withhold confidential information.
* It is essential that the post holder undertakes the extensive duties with flexibility, initiative and enthusiasm and operates as an integral part of the team.
* A meticulous approach to tasks, with a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task, be proactive and accountable.
* Willingness to learn and extend the role above and beyond the job description.
