Role Overview:
Volunteer to help Sue Ryder be there when it matters. As a Facebook & eBay Photography Volunteer in our Burnham-on-Sea Sue Ryder charity shop, play a key role in promoting our range of distinctive fashion clothing as well as our fabulous furniture.
You will provide in-store support to enhance the shop’s Facebook page to increase our visibility to a wider audience. If you're interested, you can also combine this with our eBay role to research unique items and their potential value, enticing customers with your unique selling points.
The Role – Facebook & eBay Photography Volunteer:
1. Photographing items on personal phone
2. Creating attractive shop displays
3. Creating engaging posts on social media (Facebook)
4. Promoting the charity
5. Greeting and helping customers
6. Light cleaning/tidying duties to keep the shop inviting and well presented
About You:
As a Facebook & eBay Photography Volunteer you will:
1. Be able to follow instructions
2. Have good literacy
3. Possess good knowledge of social media and technology/photo apps
4. Enjoy helping and engaging with customers
5. Be enthusiastic and pro-active
6. Have the ability to work as part of a team
