In this role, you are accountable for: Being a part of a statistical publication production team, undertaking producing Official and National Statistics, on a monthly,quarterly or annual basis. Handling large datasets with an understanding of how to clean, process, analyse and visualise data. Conduct advanced analysisand interpretation of data, identifying trends and patterns within information and is able to present this to both internal and externalcustomers in a visual and informative manner with clear explanations. Contributing to the development and maintenance of robust end to end production processes, applying reproducible analyticalpipeline principles to our publications in collaboration with, and with support from, colleagues using version control software. Contributing to statistical policies and standards and championing these in their work and throughout the organisation, ensuringtheir outputs meet the highest standards in line with the UK Statistics Authority Code of Practice for Statistics. Handling queries and correspondence relating to our statistical publications from the public, media, and internal and externalcolleagues. Creating and maintaining supporting documentation for statistical publications including technical documentation whereappropriate. Maintaining an awareness of emerging trends and best practice from across the wider statistical community. Working collaboratively with internal and external partners to understand data requirements. Communicates data and analyses effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences verbally and in writing,using a range of dissemination methods. Ensure the information provided is accessible and understandable to a wide audience, and that it conforms to expected highstandards. Supports the production of information and analyses to satisfy ad-hoc requests in a timely manner. Communicates effectively with colleagues and stakeholders in relation to complicated and, at times, ambiguous or contentiousinformation. Takes responsibility for their continuing personal development, proactively identifying areas for improvement to aid understandingand participates in training provided to develop within the role. Participates in organisation wide working groups appropriate to the post holders expertise and experience. Shares knowledge with colleagues and is able to create and explain working procedures to others as required. Plan and organise own workload and manage activities or projects requiring formulation or adjustment whilst ensuringcompatibility with the wider workload of the team.
