The Role
Overview:
Lead marketer for the managed and tenanted pub estates.
This broad marketing role involves the planning and delivery of online and offline activity.
Summary (full job description on request):
* Managed House and Tenanted Pubs: Lead marketer for 18 managed pubs and over 120 tenanted pubs, supporting them across a wide range of marketing activity including; planning, managing and executing the annual activity plan, food and drink menu communications, local marketing and bespoke site support, drink supplier activity, on and offline customer journeys, hotel room annual promotional calendar, pre-booked sales opportunities, gift cards and promotional vouchers, and online toolbox of marketing best practice.
* Pub Market Insight: Reviews/Trends/Competitors/Market
* General:Being a brand guardian, positively promoting Wadworth through all channels and activity, proactively seeking team and customer feedback and market insight to help influence decisions, managing agencies, working with key stakeholders across the company and external suppliers/partners
* This is an office based role with hybrid working opportunities (at least 3 days office/trade based)
The Person
We are looking for someone who has the following qualities, qualifications and or experience.
* Previous marketing experience (minimum 3 years), within a pub company, brewery or similar, having worked closely with operations and pub teams on developing reasons to visit, food and drink communications, in pub and online promotions and retail marketing communication suites
* Proactive and collaborative, always looking for ways to do things better
* Very organised and good at planning as well as getting the job done
* Impeccable attention to detail and a can-do attitude
* Be capable of (and embrace) juggling multiple projects at one time
* Able to build strong internal, collaborative relationships with the wider team and external relationships with key partners
* Confident to brief pub teams, both in person and online, to drive compliance and engagement
* Have the confidence to give your opinion and have an appetite to take on new challenges
* Have the ability to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in - we're a small team and we get involved in all aspects of the business
* Bachelor's degree (preferred)
* Reliably able to commute to Devizes or plan to relocate before starting work
