Express Recruitment are delighted to be working with a firmly established Fire and Security service provider, a company which puts staff at the centre of their business and develop all staff throughout their career, who are looking to hire a Project Engineer to join their team of Engineering professionals.
The successful candidate will primarily oversee small works projects, including the commissioning of fire detection systems, completing work on customer premises, and provide technical support to Engineers and Contractors.
Their ideal candidate will be a time-served, qualified 18th Edition Electrical Engineer who has experience with commissioning fire detection and alarm systems, be able to confidently test installed systems, and be able to identify cabling associated with fire detection and alarms systems.

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Commission fire detection and alarm systems to project specifications
2. Travel to customer sites to complete work in alignment with company standards
3. Provide technical support and guidance to Engineers
4. Review cause and effect matrix and implement program accordingly
5. Manage and secure equipment stock
6. Suggest business improvements to management
7. Review programs of work and RAMs
Skills and Experience
1. Time-Served, qualified Electrician with an understanding of wire regulations
2. Experience with commissioning fire detection and alarm systems
3. Confidently be able to identify cables associated with fire detection and alarm systems
4. Experience operating electrical test equipment
5. Be able to demonstrate a logical approach to system fault diagnosis and rectification
6. Full, Clean UK Drivers Licence
