We are looking for a Family Support Worker to work within our Family Support Team. In Newcastle, we are very proud of our Family Support Team which works hard to support children and their families.

As a Family Support Worker, you will work directly with children, young people, and their families, working in a range of different settings, including family homes, children’s placements, family centres, and within the community. You will be required to work closely with other professionals, including social workers, schools, and health visitors.
As part of your role, you will attend and contribute in meetings and planning for children and young people, as well as keeping up-to-date records of your work and interventions with families. The role can involve working with emotional, challenging, and vulnerable children, young people, and their families, and therefore being able to adapt your skills is essential.
