The Trainee Account Manager will undergo comprehensive sales training and gain hands-on experience working in our Prequalification team. After learning the basics of motor finance and mastering our internal systems and processes, you will move to the Account Management team where our top performers take home £75,000. We've found this development pathway to be extremely beneficial – almost all of our top performers and team managers started out in our Prequalification team. This rotational program allows people new to the industry to build their skills and knowledge and hit the ground running when they begin managing customer accounts. What does it involve? Learn and execute the prequalification process by reviewing customer financial information to assess eligibility for car financing Communicate with customers via phone to gather necessary information and provide guidance where required Ensure accuracy and compliance with strict FCA regulatory requirements Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance knowledge of car financing products, industry trends, and best practices After mastering prequalification, transition to the sales team to assist customers in selecting suitable financing options and completing the car buying process Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service throughout the end-to-end financing process What are we looking for? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment Eagerness to learn and develop new skills Prior experience in customer service or sales is a plus but not required Details: Base salary of £25,000 with an initial OTE of £30,000 Working pattern: 0900 – 1800, 5 days per week. Monday – Saturday with 2 weekends per month allocated on a rota basis.
