As our Junior Record Label Manager, you’ll gain hands-on experience across all aspects of the industry—digital, physical, and merch—getting a full 360° view of how a record label operates. What you’ll do: Content Creation & Promotion Oversee and contribute to compelling content creation (video, imagery, and promo assets) for the record label and artists. Liaise with third-party advertising companies for promotional assets and oversee their creation. Advise artists on social media strategy and provide campaign plans. Digital & Physical Release Management Manage DSP (Digital Service Provider) pitching for albums, EPs, and singles and handle metadata management to digital and physical partners. Opt-in artists for Spotify Discovery and oversee Spotify for Artists platform. Upload artist tracks to BBC Introducing and music videos to YouTube while managing metadata and analytics. Create and maintain pre-save/order links for all releases. D2C & Stock Management Run artist D2C stores, oversee stock management, and coordinate artwork production. Order physical stock and oversee stock management/movement. Coordinate and commission physical artwork design. Streaming & Data Reporting Provide roster streaming and data reports for internal teams, management, and stakeholders. Studio & Production Coordination Organise and book studio time, production, mixing, and mastering. Financial & Administrative Tasks Manage invoices, budgets, and royalty reporting (PPL, MCPS, Publishing). Handle metadata management and delivery of the Marshall Records Publishing Roster to PEER Music. Team & Stakeholder Coordination Lead artist and stakeholder meetings when needed Coordinate internally with Marshall Group departments Who we’re looking for: You demonstrate a passion for music and attend gigs during evenings and weekends Previous experience of a role in the music industry, preferably at a label. A strong understanding of physical and digital distribution Strong communication skills Friendly, approachable and enthusiastic with a desire to understand the needs of clients You probably have the following experiences & skills: Great organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks at once Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro – with the ability to create assets for socials and advertising Have an understanding of sync deals and publishing processes Possess a knowledge of business affairs and label processes If you’re looking for a unique opportunity to work with passionate artists, learn every aspect of the industry, and be part of a label that truly cares, we’d love to hear from you.
