We have an exciting opportunity for an excellent teacher to lead in collaboration with our Head of Boys PE, this highly committed, experienced and hard working department on a fixed term maternity cover contract. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the age and ability range including KS4 and BTEC Level 3 Sport qualification and must have proven success across the key stage. A desire and commitment to contribute to extra-curricular sports provision is essential.
Our PE department is well resourced and we have extensive outdoor track, field and court facilities as well as our indoor sports hall, gym, dance studio and refurbished swimming pool.
Staff morale is high at our school; we have an excellent induction programme and a commitment to professional development for all staff. All teaching staff are provided with a laptop.
Our oversubscribed school again achieved a 'GOOD' rating in its Ofsted inspection in June 2022 and we have a commitment to supporting students in developing as well-rounded individuals as well as achieving their academic potential.
