The Henley College is seeking a Science Technician to join our team who is passionate about science and highly organised. You will support our science department by preparing practicals and demos, and supporting students in practical lessons. Your main focus will be Chemistry and Forensics, but you could be asked to support in other science subjects such as Environmental Science.
This is also an ideal first step if you’re interested in progressing into a teaching career
Essential Criteria
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
Working knowledge of basic scientific principles, particularly in Chemistry
Willingness to be trained in relevant skills.
Relevant qualifications or experience.
Ability to work well within a team and prioritise tasks effectively.
Enthusiasm, energy, and commitment to the role.
Flexibility in working practices.
Terms of Employment
Tenure: Permanent, Part Time, Term Time Only (36 weeks)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Start Date: 3rd March 2025
Salary: £16,685.24 per annum (Pro rata for part time and Term Time Only)
