We are looking for a talented and seasoned Trade Floor Engineer to become a part of our vibrant team. The perfect candidate will possess significant expertise in trade floor support, endpoint migration, and managing migration/upgrade projects.
Role-based Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network issues and trade-floor specific applications on the trade floor.
2. Floor-walking the Trade-floor.
3. Assist Traders on the trade-floor during migration/upgrade.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support and maintenance for the trade floor, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
2. Manage and execute endpoint migration projects, including planning, testing, and deployment.
3. Collaborate with traders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand and address technical needs and issues.
4. Maintain and update documentation related to trade floor systems and endpoint migrations.
5. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
6. Assist end-users with device enrolment, application deployment, and configuration in Microsoft Intune.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve basic Intune-related problems, including connectivity issues and device compliance.
8. Support Trading floor IT solutions and experience of working with devices and apps like Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.
9. Perform desktop and laptop updates, upgrades, imaging, and support for trading applications, smartphones, and printers.
10. Manage end to end projects such as Win OS upgrade, Windows update rollout and software updates via SCCM/Software Center/Intune.
11. Proven experience as a Trade Floor Engineer or in a similar role.
12. Strong knowledge of trade floor operations and technologies.
13. Provide first-level support for Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot-related issues.
14. Collaborate with other IT support teams to escalate and resolve more complex issues.
15. Proficient in Windows operating systems.
16. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
17. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
18. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
19. Mandatory project management experience.
20. Strong understanding of Break-Fix, Service Requests, IMAC, Incident, Problem, Configuration management and processes within ITIL.
21. Strong understanding and skills in SLA, KPI Management.
22. Preparation of IT Knowledge documents & SOPs on EUC and FSO processes and technical support.
23. Highlight Risks, Issues and action logs with management and seek sign offs.
24. Work closely with Support teams and our Third Party Partners and manage service provided and relationships.
25. Should have knowledge on MS Office and Microsoft project.
26. Taking ownership of issues through to resolution on all appropriate incidents & requests.
27. This position requires the ability to work in a project-based environment, requiring flexibility and teamwork.
Location of work will be the client offices in the respective geography/location.
