This position is known internally as 'Careline Operator'
1. Location: Ringwood, Hampshire, BH24 3FA - office based
2. Salary: Circa £23,000 per annum, pro rata, dependent on experience, plus Company benefits
3. Hours: Variety of hours, full-time or part-time

About the role
13. You’ll be taking incoming calls from retired Homeowners right across the UK, responding to a variety of situations including emergencies (eg, accidents, fires, floods), fire panel alarms, security entry calls or speaking to people keen to hear a friendly voice
14. Logging each call into our CRM system and ensuring information is accurately recorded
15. Remaining alert to ensure you are ready and available for your next customer
16. Liaising with Lodge Managers, based within our retirement developments
17. A flexible, friendly and responsive approach is essential.

About you
19. We are looking for people with excellent customer service skills, especially those with telephone based experience, such as emergency control room, contact / call centres, telephone marketing, hospitality or similar
20. You will be a great listener and communicator, motivated, reliable, resilient, empathetic, calm in a crisis and with good common sense!
21. You'll be flexible to work on a roster basis inclusive of some weekends and Bank Holidays
22. A good standard of written and spoken English and IT skills is essential
