Job Title: Building Services Section Leader
Location: Barnsley
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
We're looking for an experienced Building Services Section Leader to oversee maintenance, compliance, and facilities operations. You'll lead the Facilities Team, manage contractors, and ensure minimal disruption to operations while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage planned preventative maintenance programs.
2. Lead maintenance activities for electrical and mechanical systems.
3. Ensure full compliance with statutory obligations and maintain the Compliance Register.
4. Oversee regular inspections, repairs, and asset management.
5. Conduct contractor inductions and manage permits for tasks.
6. Provide accurate data for audits and ensure safety regulations are met.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in building services or facilities management.
2. Strong knowledge of health & safety and compliance standards.
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
