As Aftermarket Winch Products Teamleader, you will be responsible for coordinating, expediting, and achieving a schedule of work to ensure product repair work is carried out in a timely manner.
You will also ensure all processes, procedures, and work instructions issued are followed by yourself and the workshop staff. You will serve as a Point of Contact (POC) for all Service & Rental Maintenance/Repair and testing of ASEP K-Winch and Elmar products, including truck-mounted and offshore containerized winches, diesel-driven power packs, telescopic and folding wireline masts, Winch, Mast, and Compressor.
Communicating with customers & key stakeholders regarding the work, maintaining a customer-focused approach, and managing project documentation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Work with Project Planner to define current and future workload within the department.
* Act as a contact/liaison internally & externally for Equipment Service & Repair jobs.
* Assist with technical support to clients.
* Maintain and monitor service stock levels.
* Raise purchase requisitions for parts and outside services.
* Support and mentor assigned Aftermarket Winch Technicians.
* Participate in weekly meetings and contribute to tasks.
* Monitor workshop service stocks and request replenishments as needed.
* Ensure thorough visual inspection of all service equipment.
* Monitor overtime requirements and manning levels.
* Maintain an organized workspace following 5S and LEAN principles.
* Contribute to staff induction training.
* Support initiatives like on-time delivery, schedule attainment, and cost quality.
* Review and update employee timecards daily.
* Control documentation and final data books for clients.
* Archive relevant documentation digitally.
* Participate in internal/external QC audits as required.
* Travel to customer sites when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum 5 National 5 passes or equivalent (essential)
* HNC in engineering-related subject (desirable)
EXPERIENCE
* Hands-on experience with mechanical and hydraulic equipment (essential)
* Knowledge of full project lifecycle, product, and production planning. Experience with wellhead equipment, preferably in a hands-on or management environment (essential)
SKILLS, TRAINING OR SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) (essential)
* ERP knowledge - Oracle/Omega preferred but training will be provided.
* Knowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of QA (desirable)
