Location: Manchester (Hybrid working - 1 day in the office)
Duration: Interim
Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit an Interim Group FP&A specialist for a leading, reputable retail business in Manchester city centre. The business has been consistently growing over the past few years and will continue to outperform their competitors by driving their strategic plans further.
This is a short three-month contract working for only three days each week (1 day in the office) as urgent cover due to the team's busy workload.
As a senior member of the FP&A team, you will be responsible for facilitating and delivering pro-active commercial reporting, analysis, and support for the Group FP&A team and the wider business on all matters of potentially significant financial impact to the company.
You will be a strong and visible member of the team with the remit of supporting the senior Finance team and Executive Committee members with high-quality analysis and insight on the business performance. You will produce the weekly revenue reports, forecasting, financial performance reporting, and be involved in the weekly flash process.
This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, so it is essential to have relevant financial planning and analysis experience, ideally in a multi-site or multi-national business.
Key to the success of the role is the ability to manage and be accountable to multiple stakeholders across Europe. You will work closely with non-finance teams, aiding them in making sound conclusions following your analysis. You will assist in supporting and influencing decision-making through the analysis of complex accountancy/finance issues.
The successful applicant will be a fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. You will have previous experience in an FP&A role within a multi-national or multi-site retail environment; possess a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving and analysis; and be delivery-oriented, able to work in pressurised environments, meet multiple deadlines, and manage your own priorities.
If you consider yourself to be a committed, career-driven professional who can demonstrate the above experience and would welcome the stimulus of this finance post, then we would be pleased to hear from you.
