Carbon Synergy are looking to expand on their already successful mechanical division of the company.
We are currently looking for an MEP project engineer and estimator.
The ideal candidate for the role should have a good understanding of MEP services requirements for a multitude of building types with a bias towards heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and sanitary services.

Role:
Design and estimation for mechanical services predominantly within the retail and residential healthcare sector.
A good knowledge of the specific requirements of the HTM regulations, CIBSEs, BSRIA, and building control approved documentation is required.
Understanding of multiple disciplines within the mechanical sector (i.e., air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, heating, etc.) and the ability to design systems suitable for a building's application.
Ability to put together estimations for mechanical services and prepare tender submissions.
It would be advantageous for the applicant to have an understanding of differing types of air conditioning and ventilation systems.
Understand technical submissions and advise clients on any requirements.
Liaising with sub-contractors to ensure an understanding and ensure a high level of quality is met at all times.
Some site attendance may be required for auditing purposes, and as our works are nationwide, this may include overnight stays on occasion.
Abilities:
Use of Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
Use of specific mechanical design software such as TAS or IES (advantageous but not essential).

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
