We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our clients residential care home, which provides care for residents including those with Elderly Mental Impairment (EMI). This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic individual to make a real difference in the lives of the residents. This role has become vacant due to retirement who was in the role for 30 yrs.

As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained and that the home meets all regulatory requirements. You will lead and inspire a dedicated team, fostering a positive and supportive working environment.
Package:
Starting salary of £30k-£35k per annum
Option to work 30 hours if of interest
Immediate start for the right candidate ( also happy to honour any notice period)

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management: Provide strong leadership and direction to the care team, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management.
Care Quality: Ensure the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care that meets the individual needs of each resident. Oversee the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments.
CQC Compliance: Maintain full compliance with all CQC regulations and standards, ensuring the home is consistently rated 'Good' or 'Outstanding'. Manage inspections and implement any necessary actions.
Occupancy & Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy rates and promote the home within the local community. Manage budgets and resources effectively.
Resident & Family Communication: Build strong relationships with residents and their families, ensuring open communication and addressing any concerns promptly and sensitively.
Staff Development: Create a culture of continuous improvement, supporting the professional development of all staff members.
EMI Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the needs of residents with EMI and ensure the provision of appropriate and specialised care.
Essential Requirements:
Registered Manager qualification / Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care) or equivalent
Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a residential care home setting, specifically with experience managing a team and similar service.
Demonstrated experience in increasing occupancy rates.
Extensive knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.
Experience in developing and implementing care plans and risk assessments.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
A passion for providing high-quality care for older people.
Experience working with residents with EMI.
