An allowance of £5k per annum will be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. As one of our Technical Specialists, you will be taking the lead in a diverse, fast-paced, constantly evolving team. In this role, you will have devolved architectural and operational responsibility for a large subsection of the technology stack on one of our projects. You will have regular and direct customer communication, responding to their challenges while maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing your own work stack as part of a small team, making priority decisions in line with all relevant security, financial and HR considerations. What you'll be doing - Provide technical expertise and be hands on in all aspects of design, build, deployment, integration and maintenance of world class customer facing secure platforms. - Employ and adapt industry-leading techniques and best practices to suit customer challenges. - Work within existing monitoring, observability and security frameworks to achieve our customer's requirements. - Integrate products, building end-to-end solutions to meet Customer operational needs. - Execute against the project technical roadmap/delivery plan. - Identify design changes, improvements and updates required to keep in line with product support lifecycles. - Undertaking self-development to broaden knowledge in new technologies outside current skillsets. You'll definitely have - Built & deployed Network and Infrastructure management & monitoring tools with strong knowledge of SNMP, syslog & IP networking - Experience of Multi-vendor applications deployment and product integration e.g. with security tools, directory services, backup solutions - Experience of building systems and applications to hardened Security standards, along with producing High and Low level design documentation and build guides You might even have - IT Infrastructure deployment skills including Microsoft Server and Red Hat operating systems - Used build & deployment toolsets e.g. MDT, SCCM, VMware templates - Experience in use of Advanced Microsoft Active Directory including Group Policy definition and deployment - VMware Infrastructure deployment and management experience - Experience with storage solutions and SAN networking - Knowledge of PKI - IP network design including Juniper, Cisco configuration - A grasp of Transmission technology (L2) basics - Database skills (SQL, Oracle) including high availability - Demonstrated support to Verification, Validation and Testing (VV&T) including formulation of test scripts Experience of troubleshooting technical issues through to resolution, including vendor engagement Diversity and Inclusion: Diversity makes sense for us, for our customers and for our future.
