Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insights Manager to join a thriving and growing team. This role is pivotal in driving consumer insights and strategic decision-making for our retail clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail or hospitality, excellent client-facing skills, and proficiency in using Power BI for data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for client interactions, ensuring clear communication and effective relationship management.
* Consumer Insights: Utilize consumer data to provide actionable insights that drive pricing, product range, and operational decisions.
* Data Analysis: Leverage Power BI to analyze and interpret data, creating reports and models that support strategic initiatives.
* Market Comparison: Conduct market analysis to compare pricing and product offerings with competitors, ensuring competitive positioning.
* Operational Support: Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, finance, and operations, to implement insights and drive performance improvements.
* Travel: Visit sites and client headquarters as needed to gather real-world insights and participate in business reviews.
Qualifications:
* Educational Background: Degree educated, preferably in a relevant field.
* Experience: Proven experience in a client-facing role, ideally within consultancy or a similar environment. Background in retail or hospitality sectors is highly valued.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis and insights generation.
* Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner.
* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret data effectively.
