Procurement Manager Location: Yate/Bristol Salary: £42,500 per annum Bonus (DOE) Job Type: Permanent, Full-time About the Role: We are seeking a versatile and driven Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement operations of a fast-paced production site specialising in bespoke, made-to-measure office chairs and components. This role requires expertise in supply chain management, procurement, purchasing, and ERP optimisation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships. While experience in a similar role is preferred, we welcome candidates from developmental roles within the sector who exhibit ambition and a willingness to grow. Key Responsibilities: Manage the procurement process, ensuring seamless operations for bespoke production. Identify opportunities for supply chain improvement, optimising margins, component quality, and reducing volatility. Monitor quality, safety, and standards across the procurement department and supply chain. Generate procurement reports, analyse KPIs, and present findings to senior management. Collaborate with accounts and senior leadership teams to plan payment schedules, fulfil invoices and purchase orders, and forecast future needs based on market conditions. About You: A qualification in procurement management, operations management, or a related discipline is advantageous but not essential. Relevant experience, aptitude, and ambition are highly valued. Proven experience in a management role within a manufacturing or production environment. Strong knowledge of international import, customs, and freight regulations, as well as quality control standards. Experience collaborating with creative and technical teams to design and launch new products is a bonus but not essential.
