Job Description
FPG is seeking a Sales Director with vast experience selling telco cloud services/platforms to operators/CSPs in the UK. My client is one of the leading telco solution providers globally providing an innovative cloud-native telco platform to their customers.
To be successful you must have proven experience selling cloud software deals to operators/CSPs like Vodafone, Three, BT/EE, etc in the UK.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Achieve OB and Revenue targets for Telco Cloud Sales in the region.
* Support the rapid growth of the Telco Cloud business by driving software and cloud sales to telecom clients.
* Develop and execute a region-specific sales plan to meet targets.
* Ensure strong demand generation, pipeline management, and conversion rates.
* Collaborate with pre-sales/solution engineering to secure new deals.
* Leverage partnerships and GTM relationships to amplify results.
* Provide clear, timely reporting on weekly sales activities and progress.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* 10+ years in leadership roles with a focus on Telco Cloud software sales, including 5+ years of regional experience in Telco/CSP markets.
* Technical background with an Engineering degree; MBA preferred.
* Proven ability to close multiple cloud software deals and maintain a strong Telecom/CSP CxO network.
* Strong communication and presentation skills; able to represent the organization at industry events.
* Deep understanding of business fundamentals and financials, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
* Experience managing cross-disciplinary teams and thriving in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment.
