Next Geosolutions are hiring for a Mobilisation Engineer is to ensure an efficient and effective mobilisation by using a ‘right first time’ philosophy. Responsible for both Geophysical and Geotechnical scopes mobilisation and demobalisation planning and activities. You will work closely with the Asset Manager and Assistant Geotechnical Manager interfacing with the Operations Manager and Project Managers to ensure a seamless mobilisation including equipment, deck layout and third party co-ordination.
The role will be a mixture of office based and site based. No offshore working will be required.
Role objectives
* To work with key stakeholders planning well in advance for mobilisations/demobilisations
* Ensuring all equipment is reliable (correct certs, calibrated, serviced), adequate and within specification to meet the contractual requirements of the work scope.
* Working closely with the office team, contractors/offshore staff and subcontractors during mobilisations to ensure activities are co-ordinated and individuals are accountable for given tasks.
* Escalate issue in a timely fashion to ensure they are dealt with and downtime is minimised.
* Ability to travel freely, primarily across Europe.

* Be able to plan and then see the plan thought to completion
