Key Responsibilities as a Network Designer for BT:
* Design and implement innovative network solutions tailored to the needs of major UK clients.
* As a design specialist, promote what we do and understand the customers’ needs to provide relevant solutions.
* Optimise network performance to ensure reliability and scalability for enterprise-grade applications.
* Stay ahead of industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation in network design.
* Drive a consultative approach by engaging with clients to understand their unique needs, providing tailored network design solutions, and fostering long-term partnerships to ensure strategic alignment and success.
Required Skills/Certifications:
* Proven experience in network design, ideally with enterprise or public sector clients.
* Strong knowledge of modern networking technologies – Aruba SD-WAN, WAN/LAN, WiFi
* Aruba Central Skills AOS-CX and AOS-S Switches and AOS-8 wireless, Clear Pass desirable
* Certification - Professional Level accreditation for Campus Access or Switching
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
* Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Certifications: CCNA and CCNP.
