Job summary We are currently looking to recruit into vacancy in our Children's Paediatric Critical Care Unit (PCCU) Within Nottingham Children's Hospital (NCH) we house a 14 bedded PCCU with both intensive care and high dependency beds. We care for children under a wide range of specialities, working closely alongside the Children's Medical Emergency Transport service for the East Midlands region. PCCU provides an essential service for Neurology/Neurosurgical; Spinal/Orthopaedic; Oncology/Haematology; Respiratory; General Surgery and Rheumatology as well as paediatric renal services for the region. Thisallows staff on the unit to be actively involved with kidney transplants and hemofiltration. We are supported by the PCCU Education Team and have a well-established foundation programme for those nurses who want to join us as newly qualified nurses.
