Responsibilities Use existing bespoke systems to manage procurement activities Negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms and pricing Plan inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels Check and manage deliveries Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing. Qualifications Previous experience in a Buyer role, preferably within a construction or off site manufacturing company Proficiency in using stock control and planning systems Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure cost-effective deals Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to analyse data and make informed purchasing decisions Knowledge of logistics processes is advantageous
