EssentialFunctions:
* Assist theDirector in establishing reviewing and monitoring EEO complianceprograms plans policies and procedures for all segments of theCollege.
* Oversee EEO case complaint functionincluding intake investigation informal resolution formal hearingprocesses and training.
* Investigate allegeddiscrimination cases by completing interviews of the complainingand responding parties determine relevant witness and documentaryevidence and interview persons believed to have pertinent factualknowledge of the allegations.
* Analyse allevidence in alleged discrimination cases in relation to relevantClients policy and State and Federal Statutes.
* Provide recommendations regarding whether a violation ofthe statutes and/or policies has occurred and prepare a writtenreport.
* Work closely with Campus Title IXContacts assigned to address student and faculty complaintsinvestigations and possible discipline/sanctions.
* Liaison with students departments and other internal orexternal parties regarding gender discrimination relatedmatters.
* Coordinate as appropriate withCollege Administration and/or government investigators during aninternal or external investigation.
* Investigate alleged violations of the Americans withDisabilities Act (ADA) and serve as a resource in terms ofinterpretation to the College regarding issues related to the ADAaccommodations and disability access.
* Serveas a resource in terms of interpretation to College Administrationfaculty staff and students when equal opportunity issuesarise.
* Investigate and study complaints toclarify issues.
* Attend case review meetings todiscuss cases explore options and develop investigativeplans.
* Travel to Clients campuses to givepresentations and workshops.
* Coordinate withother departments and administrators to develop and direct anongoing series of workshops seminars and training associated withinstitutional compliance.
