In House Litigation Counsel - Healthcare Disputes - 12 month FTC - NQ-3 pqe - London
A leading healthcare organisation is looking for a junior Litigation Legal Counsel to join its in-house team. This company operates a network of health and medical services locations across the UK.
As part of a small team, this role involves managing litigation claims, advising on legal risks, and working with internal teams and external counsel on complex cases. While experience in clinical negligence is beneficial, those with a general litigation background who are keen to specialise in this area are encouraged to apply, as are Australian and NZ litigators with relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handling litigation matters, complaints, and regulatory investigations.
* Advising internal teams on legal risks and compliance.
* Supporting external counsel on case strategy and evidence gathering.
* Managing insurer notifications and contributing to risk management processes.
* Assisting with governance policies and internal training initiatives.
* Providing legal input on wider business projects as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified solicitor (NQ-3 PQE) with litigation experience.
* Strong analytical and drafting skills.
* Familiarity with litigation procedures and case management.
* A proactive, commercially minded approach with strong communication skills.
