We are seeking a proactive Graduate / Assistant Construction Planner to join this experienced Contractor based in Liverpool. This opportunity is ideal for a Graduate with a couple of years of Construction experience eager to dive into Construction Planning and Programming. You will be instrumental in developing, updating, and tracking construction schedules, while gaining practical experience in project coordination and site operations.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage construction schedules using tools like Powerproject and Microsoft Project.
* Regularly update schedules to reflect project milestones and changes.
* Collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure schedule accuracy.
* Monitor project timelines, identify potential delays, and report on progress.
* Learn about construction processes, site logistics, and safety protocols.
* Participate in site meetings and planning sessions to gain practical insights.
* Communicate effectively with various teams to align project goals.
Qualifications
* Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with or willingness to learn scheduling software.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Passion for construction and project planning.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
To be considered for the role, you must already have a couple of years of experience within a Construction Management or Commercial (QS) role, or even as a current Construction Planner / Programmer. This organisation will support your personal and professional development, and they are currently working on some fantastic Construction projects.
