AWS is seeking an experienced sales professional to help manage the customer relationship in Telecommunication. As a Sr. Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of Cloud Computing adoption within the most dynamic companies in Korea. Your responsibilities will include communicating with the customer’s leadership teams, with the goals of maximizing customer success and customer satisfaction.
Key job responsibilities
1. Develop and execute strategic account plans for major telecommunications customers in Korea, focusing on long-term revenue growth and cloud adoption.
2. Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers at Korean telco organizations, serving as their trusted advisor for digital transformation initiatives.
3. Deeply understand customers' business challenges and technical requirements to effectively position AWS servers that address their specific needs.
4. Lead complex sales cycles from initial opportunity identification through contract negotiation and closure, consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets.
5. Collaborate with technical teams to design and demonstrate innovative cloud solutions tailored to telecommunications industry use cases.
6. Develop strategic proposals and business cases that clearly articulate the technical and financial benefits of AWS adoption to both technical and business stakeholders.
7. Partner with solution architects, professional services, and partner teams to ensure successful implementation of AWS services and drive customer satisfaction.
8. Identify and qualify new business opportunities within existing accounts, focusing on expanding AWS footprint and driving adoption of advanced services.
9. Provide strategic guidance to customers on industry trends, best practices, and digital transformation roadmaps specific to the telecommunications sector.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
* 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
* Experience developing detailed go to market plans
