Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing & Administration: Efficiently manage payroll through our HRIS system, ensuring timely and accurate payments while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with applicable regulations.
Employee Support & Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for employees nationwide, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns to improve work relationships, boost morale, and foster a positive workplace culture.
HR Policy Guidance & Interpretation: Provide employees and management with clear guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
Office Management: Oversee day-to-day office management duties, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining an organized, welcoming work environment.
Onboarding & New Employee Integration: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, facilitating their smooth transition into the company, and ensuring they are set up for success.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, ensuring company practices remain compliant.
Employee Records Maintenance: Manage and update employee records in a secure and confidential manner, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Audit & Reporting Assistance: Support HR and finance teams in preparing for audits, generating necessary reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance in all areas.
Benefits Administration: Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Handle benefits enrollment, changes, and provide employees with necessary information and guidance.
Additional Duties as Assigned: Take on other HR-related responsibilities as needed, ensuring the department runs efficiently and meets the needs of the organization.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an HR Generalist with a strong understanding of payroll processing.
* In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and HR best practices.
* Proficient in using HRIS and payroll software (experience with Paylocity a plus).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with employees and management alike.
* Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* High level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
