Position Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Finance Controller to join our team. In this role, you will co-pilot the B2C local business strategy, providing leadership in decision-making and ensuring sound accounting and reporting for the country. You will have full control and co-pilot all digital and acquisition spend. A day in the life of a Finance Controller The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, risk management, and compliance, with a focus on driving outstanding performance and value creation. The key responsibilities for this role will include: - Review, analyse, and provide recommendations on financial performance and dynamic forecasts - Co-pilot the business strategy and contribute to financial goal setting - Ensure accurate and timely financial accounting records and reporting submissions - Establish and maintain effective internal controls throughout the company - Ensure compliance with local legal and tax requirements - Drive process improvement and efficiency in finance work processes - Develop finance capabilities within the market and manage the HR planning cycle - Provide decision support and objective viewpoints in the decision-making process - Conduct industry and competitor analyses to drive external focus and excellence in execution What will make you successful To be successful, you will currently be operating within a similar role either in FMCG or within the eCommerce, retail and technology space. You will have strong project management and analytical skills whilst being a conscientious team player. Pro-activity and enthusiasm are essential elements for this role. You'll also be able to: - Strong stakeholder management skills in a matrix organisation - People management experience - Thorough knowledge of accounting and reporting guidelines - Understanding of value creation process and business drivers - Familiarity with local tax laws and regulations - Experience preferably working on customer acquisitions If you are a highly skilled finance professional with a strong background in co-piloting and driving financial performance, we would love to hear from you.
