Hold a portfolio of corporate clinical projects as agreed with the Deputy Director of Nursing and Quality which will align to the Trust Strategy of achieving Outstanding Care. Clinical projects will be Trust wide and may require managing transformational change. In close collaboration with Deputy Director of Nursing and Quality, play a proactive role in promoting innovative and new ways of working, using workforce knowledge to influence decision making. Act with professionalism and integrity, working within agreed professional, ethical and legal frameworks, and process. Be clinically visible and accessible to all staff. Provide support/ career and professional advice to nurses as required. Be professionally up to date to ensure that they can revalidate their professional registration work within the professional regulations set by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Work at all times in collaboration and partnership with all health care professionals, continually promoting inter-professional working. Contributes to the ongoing implementation of corporate strategies, ensuring achievement of applicable objectives and proactively modernising nursing roles in accordance with the needs of patients and working closely with the Corporate Nursing Team. Have responsibility for personal updating and development, including achieving and maintaining mandatory and statutory training and appraisal. Have responsibility for maintaining a record of own personal development. Undertake any appropriate training as deemed necessary by the line manager. Recognise the limits of your competence and knowledge and reflect on these limits and seek advice on and refer to other health professionals where necessary. Undertake investigations, reviews and disciplinary investigations as appropriate setting high standards of consistent professional behaviours which meet the NMC code of conduct and public expectation. Corroborate staffing levels by working with clinical/operational leads utilising the data sets and information available.
