Duties: Raising purchase orders for materials, supplies and equipment as directed by Project Managers and Site Managers First point of contact to assist with operational issues associated with demand and supply volatility, including supply constraints, production, transportation issues, compliance issues or unexpected demand Assisting Project Managers with supplier product selection and pricing as required Providing supply administration support to our project teams and site staff Relocation and off hiring of equipment as directed by Project Managers and/or Site Managers Resolving delivery and/or collection issues, compliance issues or unexpected demand Maintaining records for materials, supplies, and equipment on site Assisting Project Managers with supplier product selection and pricing as required Building supplier relationships and monitoring supplier performance Answering telephone calls from site and external stakeholders Person specification Experience of working within the Construction Industry, hiring plant & equipment Experience of working as part of a team in a fast paced environment, communicating effectively with colleagues, following written and verbal instruction Excellent organisational skills, willing to adapt quickly to change Excellent planning & time management skills Able to work to deadlines Self-motivated Good IT skills (excel, word, outlook essential) Good negotiation skills Ability to follow processes with good attention to detail Customer focussed Pleasant telephone manner
