CommisChef
The Home Cottage is a stylish restaurant and bar with private function rooms, where we serve freshly made, seasonal British dishes and have a constantly changing selection of specials available for our guests. We currently have an experienced team of chefs but are now looking to employ another Commis chef. We need an experienced chef to support our head and sous chef in the daily running of the kitchen, who would ultimately like to develop into a chef de partie position.

1. Hourly rate of up to £14 including tips

What we look for in a Commis Chef:
We are looking for an existingCommis Chef, an excellent Kitchen Porter or an individual looking for theirnext step to their hospitality career, who consider themselves to have apassion and flare for producing quality fresh food in an environment that makespeople feel welcome. As the successful Commis Chef you will:
8. Be an active hands-on person with a passion towork hard as part of a team
9. Have high standards and a great work ethic
10. Show willingness to learn new skills; be anactive team player with excellent communication skills
11. Working alongside your kitchen team; you will beable to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to deliver topquality service
12. Demonstrate great planning and organisationalskills to complete day to day tasks
