Job Title: Senior Network Engineer – III (Computer Network Architect)
The Contractor shall provide and designate a Senior Network Engineer. The Contractor shall manage the network of the Cyber Program. The Contractor shall lead efforts concerning planning, development, implementation, problem resolution, and administration. The Senior Network Engineer shall serve as a network technical expert concerning network system policy and planning including the development of policies, and short and long-range planning. The Contractor shall make recommendations on proposed Network Systems Engineering based on knowledge of existing capabilities and analysis of alternatives. The Contractor shall define future focus by participating in the development of the various roadmaps and technology strategies to solve complex problems. The Contractor shall exercise responsibility for assignments pertaining to the strategic goals, policy, and planning requirements for the Division.
Education:
* A Bachelor’s Degree in Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Management, or a related discipline, or the minimum experience listed below.
* The Contractor shall meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT II requirements.
Experience:
* Minimum 10 years of experience in the configuration and operation of cyber range or computer test bed environments.
* The Contractor shall possess expertise in designing and configuring computer networks including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and VLANs utilizing bare metal and virtualized systems.
* The Contractor shall possess experience providing enterprise network engineering and support for a campus area network type facility to include creating and planning policies and procedures.
* The Contractor shall possess experience working with wireless infrastructure supporting 802.11x, 3G, and 4G wireless technologies to support the MuTC Wireless Network.
* The Contractor shall possess experience configuring and managing Joint Information Operations Range (JIOR) node.
