About the Role:
Our chilled foods site in Carlisle is a key part of our Meals division, employing around 1200 people across three separate factories.
The role offers plenty of challenge and variety (you will be part of a team covering the whole site) and key responsibilities will include:
* Leading and developing your teams, working closely with line leaders and their teams to ensure all departmental production and efficiency targets are achieved.
* Supporting other Production Managers within the team, providing cover as required and working collaboratively to improve processes and identify more effective ways of working.
* Constantly reviewing operational trends and performance metrics (e.g., OEE, GMP) and putting corrective actions in place to ensure delivery of the production plan.
* Identifying areas of improvement within your team, ensuring all colleagues are trained/coached effectively in order to meet their full potential.
* Promoting a safety-first culture across the department, ensuring compliance to all HSE standards.
