Senior Social Media Executive Based; Greenbridge, Swindon with some travel to Stores At WHSmith, our people are at the heart of everything we do. The role of the Senior Social Media Executive is a part of our Digital Marketing team, collaborating with the High Street and Travel teams to drive an engaging social media presence across multiple platforms. You will work with the Digital Marketing Controller and collaborate closely with the Travel Social Media Manager to create impactful, fun and on-brand content to drive our growth and reach throughout our social media platforms, whilst aligning with the overall business goals. Our social media channels: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest You will work on a hybrid model based in our Swindon office 3 days per week, with travel to different store locations to create content and occasional travel to our London office. What you will be doing: You will be a part of a team responsible for digital marketing and the output of social content for online and our High Street stores across all channels. You will be given the opportunity to create this content first-hand on-site as well as in the office. Collaborating with the creative studio to deliver social first, highly engaging and innovative content that is entertainment first and speaks to our social media audience. Feed in to and execute our per-platform social and content strategies. Developing and implementing a calendar of always-on and campaign content across our social channels. Planning, creating and executing campaigns with social first approaches to drive engagement and following across the social media platforms. Work closely with the buying and trading teams to deliver funded activity as part of wider marketing media packages. Monitoring and managing the social media channels, including community management. Scheduling, and posting across all social media channels. Brainstorming social media content ideas to share with the wider team. Working with the Travel Social Media manager to align the TOV across copy, community management and content across all of the platforms. Supporting the Digital Marketing Controller with creating content for Paid Social ads, and the management of influencer partnerships. Monitoring of competitor activity on social platforms and compile recommendations to inform strategic development. Reporting the results across the social media channels and presenting this to senior stakeholders.
