We are seeking Department Clerks across various shifts to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with the Department Team Manager to ensure smooth operations by providing timely and accurate reports and maintaining the Warehouse Management System. Your efforts will directly support warehouse operatives in their daily tasks and contribute to critical business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee administrative tasks and compile reports to assist daily department operations.
* Support warehouse operatives with system-related activities.
* Generate hourly and daily reports to ensure operational continuity.
* Develop and monitor key performance indicators for the department.
* Identify and propose solutions to improve processes and system efficiency.
* Assist in scheduling work and maintaining workspace cleanliness.
* Conduct regular inspections and manage documentation.
* Monitor and manage departmental equipment like scanners and batteries.
* Maintain databases and ensure effective communication of DC and stock issues.
* Collaborate with the stock team to minimize stock losses.
* Perform daily health checks and escalate issues as needed.
* Step into the Department Manager role in their absence.
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work under pressure.
* Strong numerate, analytical and strong bias to system activities.
* Highly organised with the ability to deal with multiple tasks.
* Demonstrates reliability and commitment.
* Demonstrates the ability to use and work on own initiative.
