Job Title: Year 5 Teacher - Skelmersdale Location: North West England, Lancashire, Skelmersdale Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Salary: £140 - £190 Per day Job Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 students Assess and evaluate students' progress to provide constructive feedback Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Relevant degree in Education or related field Enhanced DBS check Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Effective classroom management techniques Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Experience in teaching Year 5 students Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or behaviour management Working Conditions: The role involves working in a primary school environment, interacting with students, colleagues, and parents. Full-time hours are expected with occasional participation in extracurricular activities or events.
