PA to Headteacher (Maternity Cover)

Salary: £33,366 - £37,938 (Pro Rata)
Actual Salary: £30,850 - £35,077
37 Hours Per Week
Term Time plus 10 Days (41 weeks)
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join Windsor Olympus Academy (WOA) as PA to the Headteacher covering a maternity leave. This is a pivotal role within the school, providing highly effective administrative support to the Headteacher, leading the school office team, overseeing HR services, and driving the school’s marketing and communication activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing confidential and efficient administrative support to the Headteacher, including diary management, drafting correspondence, and organising meetings.
* Acting as the school’s marketing lead, overseeing social media, communications, and website updates.
* Leading the school office team, ensuring effective processes and systems are in place.
* Delivering a high-quality HR service, including recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining staff records.
* Supporting compliance and governance procedures, including GDPR and Health and Safety.
As a key member of the team, you will be a highly skilled administrator and provide outstanding, efficient, and effective secretarial service and administrative support to our Headteacher. You will have excellent organisational skills, be able to communicate at all levels, and have up-to-date IT skills. Ideally, you will have experience in line management of a team and will be able to work independently using your own initiative. You will be required to support the School Leadership Team in all aspects of HR and people management; therefore, some previous experience in the day-to-day HR functions of a school or another similar organisation would be desirable. In addition, you will be leading the marketing activity for the school.
